I just suddenly felt how vulnerable relationships can be. I used to have this thinking that the longer the relationship, the more stable it will be. So I always has this yay-ness when our anniversaries came. Till the later years, I heard about friends or friends' friends breaking up after years of relationships. At that point of time, I kept wondering how can such long period relationships break so easily. And I realised, longer doesn't equate to better. Some people get bored of their relationships and find new thrills out there, and so end up breaking up. Hence, in this case, longer seems = more vulnerable. It sounds really scary sometimes. Like you thought everything is wonderfully planned, but out of no where came a third person and the plans vanished. *Sigh. No wonder people say the best time to marry is after being together for 2 years! Gosh, We've long passed that stage.

I would say I was pretty shocked with his calm reply to my what-if questions yesterday. But come to think of it, it kind of makes sense too. I wouldn't know how to react if these questions were to direct to me 'cause it never really occurs in my mind, at least for the recent years.

And yes, I still do love him. Even if it is just a habit, I shall never kick the habit away. :)
