Something that has been bugging me for the past few days:
Should I organise a BBQ for my birthday this year?
Have been thinking about it and the main problem is FUNDING. As I'm already planning to save up for my Asus Triple E. And my main big contributors are in for BIG present as well, there aren't people to help me with money for BBQ.
Next, I ever wondered if I'm not suitable to celebrate my big occasions or something. Because, if my close friends remember, I did organise a BBQ for my 16th birthday, like four years ago. And it turned out pretty bad for me as my tummy aches like 24 hours? And I was then admitted to the hospital right after the BBQ ended. And I had my appendix cut on the exact 25th. I still remember vividly all the greetings I received from the nurses and doctors.
I'm glad that at least I had family and friends visiting me though.
And I did want to organise a BBQ for my 17th birthday I think. It was like kinda set until I received news that my gransfather had passed away a few days before and I had to rush to Malaysia for a week. So I had to cancel it.
So then I decided to just let my birthdays pass peacefully for the next couple of years. Till now, I'm bored of peaceful birthdays. I wish to get more people to share my joy. May not be neccessarily to celebrate, can just be a simple gathering.
Anyways, my main point is, I'll probably organise a BBQ! As, thankfully, I've just found a sponsor to contribute about half of the budget =D. No, not ZY as mentioned earlier, he's one of the sponsor for my Triple E.
