My 5th present after like so long:
Thanks to QY, KC & SL...
We actually went to buy together last Thurs at BBP. YAY! I've already eyed it for more than a month la. It's so nice and beautiful right? Very fairytale-like...with the fairy godmother and prince charming. But of course I don't wish that they are like the characters in Shrek. Very interestingly, the music will play and fairy godmother will be moving around when you pull out the 1st drawer. Ahh..I LOVE IT!
Oh yes, not forgetting the 50 bucks angbao Dad and Mum gave me as temporary present. 'Cause they promised they'd buy a bigger wardrobe for me soon, probably later part of the year or next year when sis marries and moves out.
And yea, I'll never forget. I haven't get $$ from QZ for present, that I actually intended to buy new series, very pretty Tamakuchi. On the second thought, is it too childish and waste of money? *Sigh, I still can't decide. Ideas anyone? And lastly, I haven't used the $30 "voucher" that Jes & Gina gave.
Rather happening these days. The younger kids in Toddler and Playgroup are increasing. And it seem like the teachers need more helpers. A few kids have really bad biting problems. So the other poor kids have suffered. One lovely and sweet girl was bitten by a new boy on the face, really really hard that was, *OUCH. So bad until there was very obvious bruise, blueblack. Even I can feel the heartpain, let alone her dear parents. That boy even bit one of my K1 boys a few days ago. I couldn't stand his mum, just stood there, did nothing. *ARGH.
Finally got to talk a bit with the new principal of centre. She was quite friendly and humorous I would say. As we were talking, she asked our names.
Yanyi: Yanyi
Principal: Oh, you?
Me: Yu Pei
Principal: Oh, Yi Pei?
Me: Yah
Principal: You guys don't have christian names?
Both of us: No
Principal: That's good..
Both of us(blurred face): ...? ('cause it's quite difficult for non chinese to pronounce esp my name, we thought they always think christian names are easier to be called)
Principal: Because nowadays ah, youngsters always have weird christian names like what apple la, orange, pear...don't know why, so funny. You know? I remember seeing a name "Apple Hong" in the papers, is there a girl?
Both of us(Laughed like crazy): Ya..
YY knew I have a nick called Apple too! Well, luckily enough principal doesn't know I have such a nick. Haha.
Was chatting with Teacher Joyce and then I realised she does online shopping, and have a blog too! And then, I happily introduced her to Taiwan auctions that is selling much cheaper than SG blogs. During break, I was showing YY the website. Teacher Joyce and Teacher Lina(my mentor) passed by and joined in looking at those stuff. I find myself so bad as I'm passing this online shopping-at-TW webbies disease to many people. It's like an addiction. I've passed to friends, cousins, colleagues, and now, even to the attachment centre teachers!
People, don't blame me okay? I just wanted to share good stuff with people around me, not wanting you to spend and splurge.
