A nightmare for me in the morning. Was on the way to work but met this accident when the MRT stopped at Clementi station. Just as usual, the MRT stopped, opened door, closed door and left. But seconds later, there was an emergency brake, which caused many people in the MRT almost fell down. Luckily I was holding on to the pole. Lights in MRT went off and an announcement was made, stating that there was and incident and would cause a delay. First thing in my mind was "How suay lahh". Many people in the MRT starting KPO-ing and looking out of the window. I saw an auntie having this shocked and scared expression, with her hand covering her mouth. Then I thought, "Can't be anyone that jumped down the platform again ba". It doesn't sound logical anyway, should jump down when the MRT is approaching mah, how to jump when it's leaving? So, waited and waited. Then this uncle outside the MRT came in front of the door I was standing, hand-signalled to us that someone's leg was trapped in between the gap of the MRT and the platform. OMG..how scary. Waited for quite some time again before there was this SMRT staff who walked to the further away cabin to open the door to let everyone out. So as I walked out and towards the escalator, OMFG! I saw the body, with the leg stucked in the gap..so gross! For a moment I thought that person lying there was dead. But as I looked another time, I saw her moving. Oh, so she is still conscious, must be damn painful! I think I was so traumatised then. Still have to think how I should go my workplace. Contacted sis, actually I didn't feel like going work since it was like so late already and a bit traumatised by the incident. But I need to go LX's house for assignment from workplace. So, go work loh. Luckily I know some buses at Clementi as it's near NP. If not I think I'll lose my way. So I took 184 first. Then I thought I might board at the wrong side. So I alighted a few stops after to check, realised it was actually right. OH nbm..took another bus to alight at SIM, then cross opp to take 75, long journey but straight to workplace, right below the building only.
*Sigh. Then when I reached home just now, told my parents about it again. Mummy read the newspaper and told me that the lady didn't break her leg loh, just some pi wai shang only, though she was dragged for about 3 metres. I think she's damn henggg lah. Henngggg ahhh. So people, please don't rush to board MRT again when it's closing already okay. It's so dangerous! It won't kill you to just wait a few minutes more for the next one =).
