Went out with ZY, his sister, his mummy and his aunt to town yesterday. And I observed and experienced
a day of a rich HDB tai tai's life.
First we went to a dim sum restaurant at Orchard Shopping Centre to have nice dimsums for lunch...Weeee. His aunt paid about $100 for that meal.
Then headed to John Little and Robinsons to pei his aunt and mummy shopping. His aunt bought clothes at both places that added up to a few hundreds I guess.
Then we walked all the way to Lucky Plaza from Robinsons as the taitais want to buy 4D.
Next stop is Coffee Bean at Paragon, for high tea. 2 cups of cuppucino that cost $4+ each, one Ice Blended regular, one Ice tea, one pasta that added up to 28 bucks. His aunt paid again.
After that, went to Heeren to let the taitais take a look at the shirt that ZY wants for his sis' ROM. Not bad..his mom said. After trying and blablabla, his aunt asked, "How much does it cost?". We said "$56". "So cheap?" his aunt claimed, and paid for him. I wanna faint!
It's his aunt's turn to shop again! This time is for handbags at Taka. A handbag that cost a few hundreds seems to be so normal to them. We went to the Burberry outlet. There's a bag that they were looking at, cost $500 over and is counted as cheap as his mom explained to us that that was just a plastic bag kind of bag and not handbag kind of bag. But his aunt didn't want to buy coz that was just a slightly larger size version of the one she was holding on to right then, and she already have an even larger version of that design at home.
So, after walking around for some time, we went to Far East to collect ZY's specs. The taitais were happily chatting with the people there for a while before we went to Shaw Towers for dinner at the canton restaurant there. His uncle and his aunt's husband came to join the dinner as well. That dinner cost $200 over for 7 of us and yes, his aunt paid for it, once again.
Oh my gosh! How I wish. I wonder when will it be my turn to enjoy this kind of life man. Maybe never. Or maybe when I manage to marry a rich chap. Dream on!
