OMG. Now then I notice one of my recent entry is blank. The entry that I talked about the stupid SingPass and my 3 days roadshow job. It was quite a long entry actually. Because I was complaining about the job as the organisers didn't have any time management. Imagine we actually waited 1 hr 45 mins just for them to arrive. And carried those leftover pamphlets home ( damn heavy). And carried 1000+ pamphlets, which weight at least 10kg, from the meeting point to our location. Mine was at Wheelock Place, while Mau was at Lido.
I have cut short a lot compared to the original one. Yesterday was last day of the job. I thought I would not survive but I did. Because it was a little better than I expected. I thought we had to stand the whole day from 11 in the morning to 9 at night, distributing the pamphlets. But we only distributed until 3 in the afternoon. We went to look for Karis(the organiser) after we finished distributing. We got a new task. We were located at a booth to give out bottles of mineral water, pandanas and lightsticks. The good thing was, we got to sit for a while. But there were times that we were busy carrying and opening cartons of water and distributing the freebies when the typical kiasu Singaporeans rushed to snatch as many free gifts as possible. I really can't believe people could take as many as 7 bottles of mineral water in the bag, and people took the pandanas just because they were FOC. If not, why did they ask us "What are these?" after they took a few.
Overall, it was quite fun. Terry and ZY came at around 3 to accompany us till the end of the day. Thru this job, we got to know a few nice friends. There was a sense of satisfication after we completed our task, especially the distribution of pamphlets, thousands of those.
At his house now, he is sleeping so soundly, like a pig. Haha.
